These healthy snacks can be altered to suit your taste buds. Ingredients such as nuts, dates, sultanas, raisons, coconut, coconut oil, cacao can be used to produce a yummy snack for the kids. No added sugar required.

Ingredients:

1 cup nuts of choice (almonds, cashews)
15 dates
1/4 cup sultanas
1/4 to 1/2 cup cocoa
20ml (1 tbsp) coconut oil (add extra if it needs to be more moist)

Healthy easy food idea for the kids this  Christmas.

This recipe is quick, easy and simple. Try this on a platter to entice the kids to eat a healthy snack or lunch.

Ingredients:

4 slices fresh wholemeal bread
Organic peanut butter
1/4 small banana, mashed
Avocado

Cream cheese
Grated apple
Slices cheddar or tasty cheese
